Dr.
Ellenbogen attributes his success in revision
rhinoplasty to four factors: First...utilization
of his "artist's eye" to create
realism. Secondly...teaching other surgeons
his techniques for repairing noses while
keeping abreast of all revision rhinoplasty
procedures performed around the world,
and adding those he deems meritorious
to his own. Third...his ability to form
an understanding of the patient's needs
and desires when it comes to fixing their
nose. And lastly...he scrupulously adheres
to safety and avoidance of complications.
After
observing, evaluating and qualifying a
patient, (both physically and emotionally)
Dr. Ellenbogen instills trust and tries
to be sure, if at all possible, to deliver
just what the patient expects. "My
word is very important to me. I never
promise what I can't deliver. "I
have dedicated myself to the highest standards
of the Art of Plastic Surgery, but I never
forget the human element. The goal of
a plastic surgeon is to improve a patient's
self image, and I take that responsibility
